Chrome door handle covers install in just minutes with 3M adhesive. I know what you are thinking. Cheesy. Nope, not at all cheesy. In fact, once these handles are installed you won't even be able to tell that they were'nt original equipment. They gleam just like chrome because they are AVS plastic covered in chrome. And don't worry about them falling off. The 3M adhesive that is used sets very quickly and is very effective at holding them on. And as far as the chrome finish is concerned, they door handles are covered by a lifetime warranty. Yep, I said lifetime.
Here are the steps to installing your chrome door handles.
1. Clean the area where you are applying the door handle with the cleaning swab that comes with your kit.
2. Trial fit the door handle covers so you can get the hang of applying it to the area. After you are ready peel the tape off the adhesive strips on one (it's best to do these 1 at a time) of the covers.
3. Carefully apply the cover to your door handle and apply pressure for 20 -30 seconds.
4. Take a buffing cloth and wipe away your finger prints, then stand back and take a look at how great it looks. See it was easy!
5. Repeat steps 1-4 on all remaining door handles.
